Parental Internet Control is Easy with the Mikko Que
One of the most stressful parts of parenting
is establishing appropriate discipline with children. Perhaps
one of the most difficult areas to control is a child's use
of the Internet. There are several reasons why parental Internet
control is an ongoing challenge, such as:
- Children often use the Internet for
schoolwork and research, and parents do not want to interfere
with their children's learning time
- There is increasing evidence that video
game addiction and Internet addiction are real disorders,
making it especially difficult for parents to tear kids
away from the computer
- Parents cannot monitor
Internet usage 24/7
The Mikko Que makes parental Internet control
not only possible, but incredibly simple. By plugging your
Internet signal, TV signal, and video games into the Mikko
Que device, you can give each child his or her own daily time
limits for these entertainment devices.
Here's an example of how the Mikko's parental
internet control operates: let’s say you want your child to
have permission for two hours of Internet usage a day between
5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Use our setup software (on your own computer
or any borrowed computer ) to burn your child's schedule onto
a USB thumb drive, called the TimeKey. Your child will then
plug the USB TimeKey into the Mikko Que and select "Internet"
on the Que's LCD screen. This starts the timer, and once your
child nears his/her two-hour Internet time limit, he or she
will receive an audio and video warning to save any work.
As soon as the time limit is reached, the Internet signal
will be interrupted. The Mikko Que, however, will never power
down any device, as improper shut-downs may cause permanent
damage to electronics and software.
Parental internet control, TV control, and
video game control is easier than ever before because of the
Mikko Que. To learn more about this one-of-a-kind device,
